(PR.co.nz) Not only is Wellington claiming the title ‘Coolest Little Capital in the World’ having recently been named the world’s fourth best city to visit in 2011 by Lonely Planet, but it’s also claiming the Best Small Workplace winner, according to this year’s JRA Best Workplaces Awards.
Redvespa Consultants Limited (Redvespa) took out top honours from 9 other finalists in the Best Small Workplace category. The JRA Best Workplaces Survey is New Zealand’s largest annual workplace climate-employee engagement survey and uses confidential feedback from organisations’ employees to rate their employers. Now in its 11th year, the Best Workplaces Survey has become the benchmark for best employer claims.
A leading information technology company consulting across all sectors, Redvespa specialises in Business Analysis, complemented by Project Management services. Since 2003, Redvespa has built an enviable reputation in providing highly experienced people to deliver quality consultancy services. To support its consultancy arm, Redvespa has developed a SaaS product, The BA Kit, designed specifically for business analysis teams. The BA Kit now enables Redvespa to offer an end to end Business Analysis solution to their clients.
Redvespa recruits creative, professional and practical people. People who love what they do and thrive on being surrounded by like-minded individuals. The result is that Redvespa has a great team culture: dynamic people who are not only skilled, but also lots of fun to be around.
Redvespa staff were asked to describe the one thing, more than anything else, that makes this organisation a great place to work. There was an overwhelming response that it was ‘the people’ that makes Redvespa…and perhaps the humdinger Christmas parties played a small part as well.
Richard Gibson, Managing Director of Redvespa commented “we are delighted that our team feel that Redvespa is the best place to work. We know that it is the people who work for us that define our culture and attract similar minded people to the team. Our contribution as a company to the national and international Business Analysis profession also offer our team opportunities and exposure they are unlikely to find elsewhere. Our challenge is to retain our boutique consultancy culture, as we continue to develop our business in Wellington and Auckland.”
The winners were announced at an awards ceremony and dinner at the Langham Hotel in Auckland on Thursday, November 11 where the Minister of Labour, Hon. Kate Wilkinson, was a guest speaker. For more information on the JRA Best Workplaces Survey visit www.bestworkplaces.co.nz.
