(PR.co.nz) Whether you’re chilling at the bach, hosting the family for Christmas dinner or planning the ultimate party for New Year’s Eve, good music enhances any summer experience.

The team at JVC knows that these days all your favourite tunes are stored on your iPod, that’s why they’ve created a series of stylish and affordable new micro and mini home audio systems which all feature iPod docks.

Now there’s no need to scour stacks of CDs for your most loved music. Just flick to your preferred playlist, pop in your iPod and let your JVC system do the rest.

The new JVC RD-N1 (RRP $279.00) is an elegantly designed one-piece system with clean, simple, European-type styling and a high quality black finish.

The portable stereo is the ideal travel companion to take to all your holiday get-togethers, offering a top-mounted iPod dock, CD player and FM tuner, plus a front audio input for connecting other playback devices.

If you’re looking host a family function, the new JVC UX-SG5 (RRP $379) and UX-SG7V (RRP $449.00) micro sound systems are sure to impress.

Both devices feature a direct iPod dock on the top of the unit and have a power output of 40 watts RMS. The UX-SG5 offers CD Playback and the UX-SG7V DVD playback, while both feature a USB Host for playback of music, a front audio input for connecting other devices and an FM tuner.

Avid iPod users can double their listening pleasure with new JVC UX-F3 (RRP $449) and UX-F5V (RRP $499.00) audio systems. Both units feature iPod docks that hold two of the music players, so you can keep one charged while the other keeps guests entertained.

The new systems underscore JVC’s reputation for top quality sound while offering unique new convenience features, iPod connectivity and contemporary designs.

The JVC UX-F3 provides CD Playback with total power output of 60 watts RMS while the JVC UX-F5V features a DVD System and a total power output of 100 watts RMS. Both models come equipped with a pair of two-way speakers and provide dual-docking for the latest generation of iPod products.

A video output even allows iPod-stored video to be played through a connected television along with an AM/FM radio and USB Host for playback of music and video (UX-F5V only).

Within the new home audio range, JVC updates the traditional mini system with a pair of new models that each sport a built-in iPod dock and offer high power and dramatic design.

JVC’s new mini system line-up includes the MX-KC38 (RRP $399) – a powerful 220 watt mini system – and the MX-KC68 (RRP $599.00) – a 400 watt mini system featuring a separate subwoofer.

The systems’ iPod “Stage Dock” on the front panel lights up from above with blue illumination while the included remote features dedicated iPod control keys that simulate the iPod control wheel layout. Users are able to easily shuffle, repeat, scroll, and select songs from the iPod menu.

Both models include JVC’s Sound Turbo for wall-shaking low frequency performance, a CD player and AM/FM tuner.
