Kindy Cottage Welcomes New Students for 2021

Kindy Cottage is currently welcoming new enrolments for 2021. Located in Windsor Park, tucked just below Rangitoto College, the centre has spaces available in both their nursery, for children five months to two years of age, and in their pre-school for children aged up to five years.

Opening its doors in 2001, Kindy Cottage is a long-standing trusted North Shore daycare provider. Welcoming children from all corners of the East Coast Bays Community, Kindy Cottage has strong ties with the local community forming long-standing relationships with families and welcoming all newcomers to the region.

Located on a quiet, leafy residential street next to a reserve, Kindy Cottage is a calming learning environment away from noisy traffic and commercial areas. At the heart of Kindy Cottage is the ethos that, by allowing children to be themselves they can learn and grow into the best version of themselves.

“Every child is unique”, says Kindy Cottage Director, Gail Menkin. “We believe in embracing individualism, taking a child-centred approach to learning”.

At Kindy Cottage, the child takes the lead in their learning, focusing on individual interests and allowing them to grow and develop their skills. Embracing individual interests is one of the ways that Kindy Cottage makes children feel that they are in a nurturing space.

For both parent and child, transitioning into daycare can be a daunting prospect. Kindy Cottage work to make this transition as smooth as possible.

“We understand that daycare can be challenging for child and parent”, says Menkin. “This is why we make it our goal to make this adjustment as seamless and stress-free as we can”.

The way Kindy Cottage work to achieve this is by creating an environment that is an extension of the child’s home.

“We create an environment where a child is comfortable to be themselves”, explains Menkin. “Also, our low student to teacher ratio means we get to know each student on a personal level, further putting them at ease”.

Kindy Cottage is now accepting enrolments for both part-time and full-time childcare for children aged five months to five years. For more information and to enrol your child, visit their website below.
