iPad no gamble for Tabcorp

(PR.co.nz) Australia’s premier gambling and entertainment group Tabcorp has transformed the efficiency of their audit processes with an iPad application.

Mobile Auditor is a customisable iPad-based application from Christchurch company Netresult Mobility. It improves efficiency around the audit process, increases accuracy and eliminates paperwork.

John Graham, Investigations Manager for Tabcorp says with Mobile Auditor they now experience better communication, flexibility and fewer errors which, as a result has increased the efficiency and accuracy of Tabcorp’s audit process.

“Our staff members no longer have to carry any of the associated computer equipment or paperwork for an audit – the only thing they need is an iPad. Mobile Auditor has moved the company forward.”

“For us, Mobile Auditor is all about giving stakeholders real time notification and access to issues arising from our audit activities, with the use of the iPad, signatures can be captured at venues and sent in real-time. A report is generated at the end of the audit and can be directly sent via email to any interested parties,” says John.

Tabcorp now has the flexibility to build and modify reports and queries in-house quickly and easily, modify email templates to different stakeholders and extract data real time.

“With Mobile Auditor we can change questions within the audit database in real-time. If we are auditing different venue types that might have unique audit questions, we are now able to tailor that,” says John.
