(PR.co.nz) Salon Finder creators, kiwi husband and wife team Chris and Rachael D’Aguiar-Sanders devised the competition to help bring some cheer back to an industry that in the last 2 years has seen the pinch, with 1 in 5 salons going out of business or downsizing dramatically. Many blaming the recession and the ‘daily deal’ craze for the downturn.

A salon is a place where people go to feel treated like they are part of that community as well as be pampered. We want to help re-establish loyalty between salons and their customers and get the industry back on its feet again!”
In order to win the coveted title of ‘New Zealand’s Favourite Salon’ a salon must simply register on Salon Finder iPhone App and get their clients to ‘Favourite’ their salon by tapping the heart on their salons listing within the app – each favourite = 1 VOTE. The salon with the most favourites will win.
The ‘favourite’ salon will win a luxury get-away for 2 in Rotorua including a Lakeview Room at the Novotel and pampering Spa treats at the Polynesian Spa. They will also receive a business building pack including 12 months Coaching & Mentoring courtesy of Worldwide Salon Marketing and The Salon Staff Coach, and a feature story on the winning salon in Images Magazine. A total package worth almost $15,000!
