Fashionable Food that Doesn't Cost a Fortune in Te Puke

(PR.co.nz) When Patrice Joyce and Julie Edwards were asked to host a Sophie Gray, Destitute Gourmet Evening, they jumped at the opportunity to reach out a helping hand to their community.

In difficult economic times such as this and particularly in light of the recent PSA outbreak, they thought local families could use a few tips on how to cook great meals on a budget. With recent publicity highlighting how expensive it can be to eat healthily, who would have thought you could eat well, cheaply? Well-known chef, Sophie Gray did and will be at The Orchard Church, Te Puke on Thursday the 22nd September at 7pm, to show you how, with tips on stocking the cupboard, eating healthily and how to make a bit of luxury go a long way; to great recipes and tempting gourmet dishes to taste.

Partially sponsored by local businesses to enable people of most incomes to come along, the ticket price will be just $15 to cover costs and can be purchased from The Orchard Church in MacLoughlin Drive, Te Puke or Te Puke Paper Plus. Bookings Essential.
