(PR.co.nz) As more people look for love online, millions of dollars are being lost every year to so-called ‘romance scammers’. Most victims are baby boomers or older as these are perceived to be more financially secure. Greydating is a new website aiming to address these issues and deliver a quality online dating experience without the worry.

According to the ACCC, reports of Internet dating scams are up 30% from last year. They estimate, however, that many more cases go unreported due to victims feeling embarrassed or humiliated. Seniors are preferred targets because they are often new to the Internet and don’t recognise the dangers.
