(PR.co.nz) Family-owned Westshore Beach Inn Bistro in the sunny Hawke’s Bay was awarded a prestigious 2012 TripAdvisor Excellence Award earlier this month.
TripAdvisor Excellence Awards are given out annually to businesses from around the world that have exceeded customers’ expectations and achieved exceptional ratings through the popular customer-rated site.
The Napier bistro is part of the Econo Lodge Westshore Beach & Inn and takes out the top spot with an almost perfect score, rating 1 from the 91 Napier restaurants on TripAdvisor. The kitchen is run by chefs David Te Au and Bobbi Clark. Clark has 55 years cooking experience and has been with the bistro for the past seven years.
The bistro’s philosophy is to deliver fresh food, not fast food, sourced locally wherever possible. It serves simple pub fare including healthy superfood salads and pastas, delicious Jack Daniels ribs and the freshest of fish dishes, complimented by a hand-picked selection of the region’s finest wines and New Zealand craft beer.
Open for dinner seven days a week and for lunches during the summer, the bistro also provides guests of the Napier hotel with continental breakfast daily and a sumptuous cooked breakfast on weekends.
Owner and manager Jeremy Bayliss, says the bistro sticks to simple, fresh classic dishes which they pride themselves on doing extremely well to deliver value for money in a friendly atmosphere.
