Pizza Provides Community Groups with Cash Injection

(PR.co.nz) Domino’s Pizza Whangarei plans to hold a Doughraiser every Monday night to raise money for various charities and organisations in the town.

Franchisee Jayesh Madhav says he has been running the initiative for the past three months and it’s proven to be such a success that he’s keen to keep it going.

“So far we’ve helped a number of schools and sports teams, but we’d like to extend it out to all of the various community organisations here in Whangarei,” he says.

The community-minded franchisee says last year about $4000 was given back to the community through its Doughraisers, which gives $1 from every pizza sold between 5pm to 8pm on a given day.

“We’re passionate about giving back to the community that has supported us and by holding one every week, we would really love to raise more than $10,000 over the next year, says Mr Madhav.

Community, sports and school groups wanting to book in a Doughraiser can phone Mr Madhav on 09-430-2852 .

Domino’s Pizza Whangarei is located at 28 Water Street, Whangarei.
