Fast Food: Fish 'n' chips at broadband speeds

(PR.co.nz) Ambitious start-up www.NeedaFeed.co.nz has launched a takeaway-ordering website sure to please many hungry kiwis, with the push of a button.

Some would say it’s the epitome of ‘Fast Food’.

“Need A Feed is uniquely simple to use, mobile-friendly and adds convenience to the consumer fast-food ordering experience by overcoming speech and language barriers, background noise for voice orders, pricey mobile minutes and more. It also benefits the store owner, as receiving the order in writing helps reduce mistakes and disagreements.” -Says Need A Feed CEO and founder Trevor Lovegrove. “Orders can be passed to the store using a variety of technologies, including Smart phone apps, SMS, Fax and the Web.”

Auckland Sales Manager, Sandy says – “We’ve signed on a variety of local takeaways who are ecstatic that something like this has arrived in New Zealand. What they love about Need A Feed is the low cost of implementation, wider scope of customers, and the ability to up-scale the number of inbound orders without the need for hiring additional staff.”

The duo has dubbed their premises ‘Hunger Headquarters’, where they already have two developers investing many long days and late nights to bring the convenience of internet shopping to the fast food industry.

The entrepreneurial pair are closely partnered with a number of local internet successes and are keen to leverage their partners’ knowledge and like-mindedness. One such organisation is TIMEDOCK.com; recently-launched SAAS-based time and attendance software company based in Auckland, set to simplify employee time keeping around the world.

The pair says, -“It’s early days but we’re signing up new takeaways every week and customers are beginning to order. What we need now is a big marketing push throughout the wider Auckland region.” -The pair are also keen to capitalise on the national market.
