Foodstuffs Appoints New Managing Director

(PR.co.nz) Foodstuffs is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Anderson as the new Managing Director of Foodstuffs (NZ) Limited. Mr Anderson will be taking on the role on 15 October when Tony Carter, the existing Managing Director of Foodstuffs (NZ) Limited departs.

Mr Anderson will also replace Tony Carter as Chairman of both Foodstuffs (NZ) Liquor Limited (Liquorland) and The Bell Tea & Coffee Company Limited.

Mr Anderson has been with Foodstuffs for ten years and will continue in his current role as Chief Executive Officer of Foodstuffs South Island Limited. Mr Anderson has been instrumental in achieving ongoing success for Foodstuffs South Island.

Career highlights include reinvigoration of the Four Square brand as an integral rural shopping experience, launch of the Henry’s Beer, Wines and Spirits stores and guiding the company to achieve $2 billion in revenue from sales in 2008.

Prior to joining Foodstuffs Mr Anderson was the General Manager (Sales) for Mainland Products Limited in Dunedin.
