Free Gig at the Hamilton Band Rotunda

(PR.co.nz) The Hamilton Live Music Trust and Hamilton City Live will be throwing a free gig at the Band Rotunda in Ferrybank Park between Victoria Street and Grantham Street. The historic venue was constructed in 1916 by the Hamilton Beautifying Society for open air concerts.

The Good Fun currently have a new video playing on rotate on C4.

Der Kranks are a seven-piece acoustic group playing music influenced by Eastern European/Balkan gypsy music styles. The band features many veteran Hamilton musicians and are known for their brilliant live sets.

The Changing Same is fronted by Matthew Bannister, Wintec lecturer and former frontman for Flying Nun band Sneaky Feelings. The three-piece band shift between indie rock & pop, with a little bit of country thrown in.

The gig begins at 2pm on Saturday 15th January. It is a free event, but koha is appreciated as it will pay for promotional costs.

Hamilton City Live is a new arts guide, covering music, theatre, and visual arts. For more details on the gig, please visit www.hamiltoncitylive.co.nz. This event is proudly sponsored by Community Radio Hamilton.
