(PR.co.nz) The date for Yvette Edwards’ Christmas Wreath Floral Workshop has been officially announced, offering a chance for a few lucky attendees to learn how to moss and bind their own holiday wreath using seasonal foliage. Yvette is hosting this year’s event at one of the most beautiful settings in New Zealand: Sudbury, a wedding venue and luxury accommodation located in Peka Peka.
“I love sharing the secret to making a wreath. It’s almost impossible to make if you start off wrong, so having some guidance is really important” Edwards says. “It’s not difficult. It’s great fun taming foraged branches into a beautiful wreath. Christmas is such a busy time of year and taking the time out to do something creative is actually really relaxing.”
The Christmas Wreath Floral Workshop led by Yvette Edwards will be held on 15 November 2015. There are two sessions available lasting two hours each: The morning class begins at 10 AM and the afternoon session begins at 2 PM. Sudbury Wedding and Event Venue is located in Peka Peka, a town 50 minutes north of Wellington. Tickets are $75 and include all material, equipment and light refreshments.
“Sudbury is the perfect place to host my floral workshops,” Edwards adds. “In the summer we can throw open the doors to the beautiful countryside and fresh air, and in the winter we can cosy around the fire.”
