(PR.co.nz) Award-winning McRaeway Homes have helped a promising young Taireri cyclist to cross the finish line financially. Thanks to the support and sponsorship of this privately-owned New Zealand housing company, 17-year-old Brad Evans has now left for Italy to attend the 2010 Junior World Championships.
Brad’s hard-working attitude quickly captured the attention of McRaeway Homes, who subsequently learnt of his plight to raise the $9,000 needed to attend the championships. McRaeway Homes also have a proven history of consistent performance and delivery themselves and were proud to reward Brad’s sustained efforts in the form of sponsorship.
McRaeway Homes General Manager Matt Tipa says “with assistance from us as a sponsor, we wish him well for the experience. We wish Brad and the New Zealand team good luck on their new and exciting journey.”
Since starting the sport six years ago, Brad has demonstrated tremendous athletic advancement, bringing home a multitude of medals and impressing those in cycling circles who have tipped him to become the next “Greg Henderson.” Brad says “I’m totally focussed on my goal of winning, being the best in the world and achieving the most I can in cycling.”
This year’s world championships are being held from 11-15 August, 2010.
