(PR.co.nz) Fashion photography is more than just pictures of beautiful people in beautiful clothes. With a touch of something special, fashion photographs can transform into a complete story, where the models and clothes become different characters in an exciting play.
For New Zealand photographer, Jessica Higueras of Jessica Photography, fashion photography is a true art form, a story without words.
“Each fashion shoots brings with it the opportunity to tell a different story about the designs, the models and incorporate it into their surroundings,” says Jessica.
“The setting is so important to a fashion photo-shoot and it can really help reflect the emotion and passion of the model and the clothes.”
Specialising in fashion photography and with four Kodak Gold awards under her belt, Jessica has already made a name for herself as one of New Zealand’s top up-and-coming fashion photographers.
Her artistic style, innate creative flair and fashion forward influence ensures she captures the best of her subject’s expressions, movements and emotions naturally. Adding a touch of fun an colour to each photograph, Jessica incorporates her strong inherent design qualities giving each image something special.
Born in Lima, Peru, Jessica crossed the continents to settle in New Zealand where she studied photography with Mel Phillips School of Photography.
Graduating with honours, her commitment and passion for photography continues to be rewarded and she has since won a prestigious scholarship to Australia from the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography.
