Award for Dunedin Cadbury Chocolate Carnival

(PR.co.nz) The Dunedin Cadbury Chocolate Carnival has won the NZ Association of Event Professionals Event Industry Award. The award, which recognises excellent business practice, encourages industry professionals to raise the overall standards of practice in New Zealand.

As the winner, the Carnival has been identified by industry peers as an example of excellence within the industry.

Kim Newman, DCC Events (Special Projects), is thrilled to have been part of such a successful event. “It’s an absolute honour to have this fantastic event acknowledged in this way. We are thrilled to have played a part in bringing the Dunedin Cadbury Chocolate Carnival to the Dunedin public and for it to have been recognised by the industry” she says.

Lee-Anne Anderson, Cadbury Event Co-ordinator, says, “Cadbury is extremely pleased to be given this award and to be recognised by our peers. This event, for Cadbury, is about giving something back to the community and the community support we have received each year has really helped us achieve this award.”
