(PR.co.nz) Junior Chamber International (JCI) Auckland requests the pleasure of your company at the their official launch night which is being held at New Zealand’s best music and entertainment venue, Sale St on Tuesday, April 24th at 7pm.

Situated at the heart of the Victoria Quadrant this admission-free event will host a mixture of Auckland’s entrepreneurs and business people, community leaders and active citizens, in celebration of the launch of Auckland’s own JCI chapter.

2012 marks 80 years since the Auckland chapter of the global network was established, so we would like to celebrate in style. Our event will showcase Auckland’s thriving music scene with performances from prominent musicians including: Five Mile Town, Seth Haapu, Kieran Cooper, and Matt Nanai.

Additionally, JCI New Zealand Chairman Murray Dixon, will talk about the history of JCI in New Zealand and its future going forward. While JCI Executive Vice President Batbayar Ulziidelger, will discuss the fantastic work JCI does globally; and Shawn Moodie, our incoming JCI Auckland President, who’ll outline our chapters founding vision and our plan to empower our members and their communities.

JCI Auckland is part of a global network of over 200,000 young active citizens in more than 5,000 communities across the globe. We look to provide a wide range of development opportunities that empower young Aucklander’s to create a positive change in themselves and their communities.

We hope that you can attend this event and have the opportunity to meet the next generation of Auckland’s who are committed to improving our city today rather than waiting for tomorrow.
