The Wellington Asia Residency Exchange (WARE), an arts exchange programme run by Wellington City Council and Asia New Zealand Foundation, is now accepting applications for this year’s round.

The second Japan Festival of Wellington is being held at the Town Hall on Sunday, 5th September 2010. Come and enjoy an afternoon of Japanese entertainers, food, crafts, and culture. The Festival will include a traditional Chin Don-Ya busking group from Osaka, karate and judo demonstrations, a tea ceremony performance, Taiko drumming, folk dancers, a Japanese anime film and even a children’s choir.
