Andrea Martinisi placed 2nd at the ASI Association of Sommeliers Asia-Oceania Competition in Tokyo. This competition is the most important international event for wine and beverage professionals working in restaurants and hotels in Asia and Oceania. Held every three years, 24 candidates from 13 countries lined up for the 2022 contest.

The New Zealand Security Association held its prestigious awards ceremony on Friday 23rd August 2019, which recognises excellence and outstanding service delivery provided by those who work within the security industry.

In a close-run competition, Andrea Martinisi from the Grove and Baduzzi Restaurants in Auckland and Maciej Zimny from Noble Rot in Wellington were runners-up.

Wellingtonian author Zamm Zamudio’s debut book – ‘Intuition: Discover the Inner Workings of Our World Book 1’ – was awarded the 5th place at the recently concluded 2018 Ashton Wylie Charitable Trust Book Awards. The awards ceremony was held at the Hopetoun Alpha, 19 Beresford Square, Auckland Central.

This weekend, elite sommeliers from around the country will vie for the title of New Zealand Sommelier of the Year. The competition will take place on Sunday August 19 at the New Zealand School of Food and Wine’s 5th W&F Celebration at their premises in the Viaduct.

This past weekend at a ceremony held in Auckland, Wellington’s Power Living Yoga Studio was named Studio of the Year for 2017 by a panel of judges with the New Zealand Exercise Industry Awards. It’s a first for the awards giving this particular accolade to a yoga studio

New Zealand International Film Awards celebrated a completion of a successful 2017 event. A range of feature and short films were screened to Auckland audiences on 7th September at Rialto Newmarket.
