Taupo Motorcycle Training Day

Taupō Motorsport Park in conjunction with Taupō District Council and Honda Riders Club of New Zealand (HRCNZ) is hosting a third discounted motorcycle skills training day on Saturday 5 February at Taupō Motorsport Park for intermediate riders, experienced riders who haven’t ridden for a while or those who completed earlier training days.

Give Way Rules to Change in 2012

The Government has confirmed plans to change the give ways rules at intersections in New Zealand. Currently if you are turning left you have to give way to right turning traffic coming towards you. This change would reverse this so the left turning vehicle would have right of way in this situation. Changes are also planned to the rule for T-intersections.

Trade Me Car Sellers Warning

The Commerce Commission is reminding people who frequently sell motor vehicles on Trade Me or similar sites to be aware of their legal obligations when advertising and selling motor vehicles. Anyone who sells more than six cars in a 12 month period is considered by law to be a motor vehicle trader, and motor vehicle traders have more legal obligations than private sellers.
