NZSA launches new guidelines and training to address enhanced citizen’s arrest powers
The New Zealand Security Association has released new good-practice guidelines and training on using enhanced citizen’s arrest powers. CEO Gary Morrison says arrests should only happen when lawful, necessary, proportionate and safe, with observation and Police involvement preferred where possible.
