To keep beaches and parks safe for everyone this Guy Fawkes, Auckland City Council and New Zealand Police will once again be implementing a fireworks ban on public spaces.

A spectacular fireworks display sponsored by christchurch aborists TreeTech, The Breeze, and The Star will launch from New Brighton Pier on 5 November 2010. The Christchurch City Council is urging visitors not to bring their own fireworks.
