Eye Care Initiative for Wellington Special Olympics

Hundreds of Special Olympics athletes from around NZ will be screened for undiagnosed eye conditions with the support of a local charity. More than 1070 Kiwi special needs athletes will benefit from the eye screening initiative which will see them receive specialist eye care during their events beginning in Wellington this month.

GSK offering Employees World First Preventative Healthcare Initiative

A new world first preventative healthcare programme has been introduced to Kiwi workers and their families.The free programme offers screening and treatment for dozens of conditions which commonly affect Kiwis but are not currently funded – such as skin, cervical and bowel cancer, prenatal scans, HIV screening, cardiovascular and diabetes treatment, smoking cessation programmes, and a range of immunisations for employees and their families.
