UN Youth Unlimited Fun in the UN for Model Students

In July this year hundreds of high school students from Cape Reinga to Bluff will converge in the capital city to tackle international issues and work towards a better future through the forum of the UN General Assembly. The most enquiring young New Zealanders who have a passion for global issues will be representing United Nations member states in New Zealand’s annual Model United Nations conference and discussing the same issues challenging world leaders in New York and Geneva.

10-Fold Earnings Potential from New Tech Manuka Honey

Earnings by a leading company in New Zealand’s $100 million Manuka honey export industry have the potential to increase ten-fold through use of patented technology outlined at the annual NZBIO biotechnology showcase in Auckland this week. Manuka Health New Zealand Ltd chief executive Kerry Paul told the conference his company’s next generation of Manuka honey products would use patented technology to deliver the active ingredient in forms more akin to pharmaceutical products than jars of honey.
