Food Integrity important in New Zealand too

The inaugural Food Integrity conference was held on 13 & 14 July in Auckland and was attended by a wide range of delegates from food businesses, regulatory authorities, science and education communities. Rachael Speedy sees that there is a role for NZ, “I believe that with our expertise in New Zealand we could become world leaders in the Food Integrity field by collaborating with government departments, science and research and involving the private sector”. Furthermore, “to be honest, we don’t have a choice, no one else will protect our brand for us”.

Denny’s Restaurant Serving Up High-Quality Food Using Smart Monitoring Technology

Denny’s Restaurant in partnership with Koolmakers and Senapps Technologies has successfully completed trial of Smart Monitoring Solution for ensuring the quality of refrigerated food storage. The restaurant can now monitor the temperature of freezers and cool rooms at all of its restaurants remotely, anytime without needing to visit the location. It also automatically alerts them in case of any changes in temperature so that they can react quickly before any items are affected.
