Everyone is invited to be part of the first-ever national Holistic Cancer Congress that will be held in Auckland, New Zealand, on March 31st and April 1st 2012. 26 March is International Purple Day for epilepsy, and Epilepsy New Zealand is doing its bit to ensure it celebrates that day proudly for all those with the condition – an estimated 90,000 people in New Zealand.

Epilepsy Research Underway in the Islands

Epilepsy New Zealand today announced that it had received funding from the IBE (International Bureau for Epilepsy), the world governing body for epilepsy based in Europe, to conduct research in the Pacific Island region in 2012. This research will seek to ascertain the services available to people with epilepsy in the islands and the treatment, if any, they are receiving.
