Taupō Rulz an Exhibition by Daniel Tippett

Opening Friday December 9th, 5.30pm DT as he’s known to many. Defined by all in the New Zealand street art scene as an iconic artist and described by TV3’s John Campbell as a premier graffiti artist, DT shows exclusively at Taupō Museum Gallery – opening Friday 9th December. The Taupō Rulz exhibition is open to public from December 10, 2011 to
January 10, 2012.

Taupō has truly broken its conservative reputation with the creation of 18 unique and vibrant large scale murals, created by a selection of New Zealand’s leading street artists who descended on the Central North Island town over Labour Weekend.

Taupo Museum Setting New Boundaries

Taupo Museum is setting some new boundaries with two impressive exhibitions. The exhibitions involve fine art shows from Tuwharetoa artists, specialist artists talks and installations: Nga Hauwahine e Whitu (our seven sisters) and Nga Mata Kaka (beacons of light).
